West Virginia has been sending out a plethora of offers in the states of Georgia and North Carolina recently, but went back to their old stomping grounds of Florida by offering 2019 wide receiver Ahmarean Brown (5’9″ 155 lbs) out of Tampa Catholic in Tampa, FL.
Brown has been reeling in the offers left and right lately including schools like Alabama, Iowa State, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and more just to name a few.
It appears that Brown is leaving his recruitment wide open as he informed me there are no current front runners. “All of them are about the same right now,” Brown said. “I’m just trying to see which school is going to fit me the best.”
Brown is a perfect fit for a spread-like offense with his speed and his ability to create separation. He believes that he will be recruited as a slot receiver, but tells me that he feels comfortable playing out wide as well.
Brown hopes to visit West Virginia in the future, but no date has been confirmed.
