WVU moves up to No. 19 in both polls

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.–After winning the Advocare Invitational, West Virginia soared to No.19 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

The Mountaineers come in at No. 19 in the USA Today coaches’ poll this week.

Last week WVU had impressive wins over Long Beach, UCF and a come from behind victory over Missouri on Sunday.  They also overcame a poor shooting performance to beat Marist.

The Mountaineers are in coaches’ poll for the 59th consecutive week and the 39th straight week in the AP poll dating back to the 2015 season.

The Big 12 has five teams ranked in the AP poll this week.
