2019 Guard, "WVU definitely a candidate"

On Saturday 2019 point guard Miles McBride of Archbishop Moeller HS in Cincinnati received an offer from the Mountaineers basketball program. “I was just really excited and a little surprised even though I have been talking to them for a while now. Coach Martin and I talk a lot, he and my dad are also great friends.”

McBride was also in attendance for the Mountaineers 86-51 drubbing of the Texas Longhorns. “The visit was really cool, just watching the game and how much the fans love the game was amazing. The facilities show you how much of an elite program they are.” McBride also added to that statement by saying, “I think everything Coach Huggs and the staff are doing is great. They are definitely an elite school and are always contending for championships.”

McBride’s decision date is TBA, but the Mountaineers seem to be in a good position early in his recruitment. McBride also yields offers from Northern Kentucky, Duquesne, Miami (OH), Akron, Toledo, Wright State and Kent State.

McBride currently holds offers from Arkon, Duquesne, Miami (Ohio), and Toledo among others.
