Character, a 6′ 190 lb safety, played this season for Northwest Mississippi Community College. He originally attended Auburn his freshman year before transferring. This season at NWCC, he totaled 28 tackles and 1 interception.
During Character’s original recruiting process, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia were just a few of the schools to offer out of high school.
Northwest Mississippi has started to become a pipeline for WVU with former Moutaineer RB Justin Crawford coming from the same school.
