Several Mountaineers sign free agent deals

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.–With the 2018 NFL draft in the books, several undrafted West Virginia University football players inked deals with NFL teams.

Safety Kyzir White was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the fourth round. His brother Ka’Raun later signed with the Seattle Seahawks.

Offensive lineman Kyle Bosch signed with the Carolina Panthers. Linebacker Al-Rasheed Benton signed with the Detroit Lions while Elijah Battle signed with the Arizona Cardinals.

Long snapper Nick Meadows inked a deal with the Indianapolis Colts and Elijah Wellman signed with the Washington Redskins.

 

Former Mountaineer receiver Tavon Austin was traded by the LA Rams to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for the 192nd pick.
