MORGANTOWN, W.Va.–West Virginia football fans may have noticed a new tattoo on the arm of Will Grier.
The redshirt senior quarterback got it over the summer to pay tribute to the state that adopted him as one of their own and the little girl he and his wife Jeanne brought into this world.
“It’s sort of a West Virginia tribute, just the land,” Grier said. The beautiful landscape, the rolling Appalachia Mountains. I grew up on the East Coast and started my family here in Morgantown with Eloise birth here. So I have her birthday on the inside and the land she was born in on the outside.”
Eloise has only lived in West Virginia. Jeanne found out she was pregnant after the couple visited WVU.
